Registration and Cancellation Policy
As confirmation of your attendance, I request payment at least a week prior to the class. If this happens to be 3 days or less, I am only able to keep the space open with payment. If I do not receive payment, I am unable to keep the space open for you.
Classes are hands-on and limited to 6 people. Once you have chosen your class, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org, or call me on (503) 806 3416. Include your name, class preference with dates and the number of participants. I will then confirm availability, and request payment prior to the class.
I am also able to provide private classes at your own home for groups of friends or family. Contact me at email@example.com for details.
In an effort to keep my classes personal and intimate, each of my classes is unique and has been created specifically for you, or your group of friends. Menus differ for each class to try and cover the vast regional diversity of Indian cuisine.
Each class that you partake in is unique and has been created specifically to give you a genuine experience of the diversity of Indian cuisine. Classes are personal and intimate giving each participant a positive learning experience and an opportunity bring out latent cooking skills and bring their own culinary experiences to the class – group dynamics and teacher to student ratio.
For this reason I feel I need to have a Cancellation Policy. If you need to cancel, please let me know at least 3 days in advance and if I am able to fill the space, I would be happy to offer a refund or transfer to another class of equal value. No refund or exchanges will be given on classes that are cancelled less than 3 days prior to the class. If you are unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, please call and let me know, so that I do not anticipate your attendance and delay the class and inconvenience other participants.
Masala reserves the right to cancel any class that fails to attract sufficient enrollment, chef illness or inclement weather. You will contacted by e-mail or telephone and issued a full refund or you may request to be transferred to another class of your choice (depending on availability). If you miss a class due to weather-related concerns, the standard cancellation policy applies.
